Casper’s ultimate wraps

I feel a bit of a cheat adding these in as ‘ultimate wraps’ but my children named them and love them! I understand that sometimes the recipes don’t have to reinvent the wheel and in fact it’s more inspiration and ideas that you might be looking for. So here I’d like to share with you a super easy lunch which my children often have at home. I lay out all of the ingredients for them to help themselves. Often with a handful of Kettle Chips each for a bit of crunch. Not particularly healthful but it saves them eating a whole bag! Generally I use wholemeal wraps and we discuss how wraps with ingredients from all the colours of the rainbow will taste the best. This encourages them to add in variety and starts getting them to try new food.

Lay out the ingredients in plates and bowls on the table.

Allow everyone to help themselves!

The idea of getting children to help themselves to food gives them 2 things… control and power. Both of which children love!”
